There are 2 kinds of Daddy Long Legs -- one is a spider, one is not. The Daddy Long Leg Spider (explicitly stated as such) is different from the Daddy Long Legs (without "spider" on the end).
The kind that we're familiar with that we find in our garages and what not are not spiders.
