I've examined the hood on an SVT very closely.
The hood is about 1/2" too short from front to back and about 1/4" - 1/2" too narrow.
If you pull the hood forward to line it up correctly with the oval and headlights, it doesn't line up at all by the cowl. And vice-versa. You just have to find a "middle ground".
The width can be "fixed" by adjusting your fenders.
Unfortuantely, when a mold is used, it's tough to get it exactly right.

Personal preference - different strokes for different folks.
Sometimes I think a CF hood on silver looks like a black hood from a junkyard was just slapped on there, other times I think it looks sharp.

Thanks for the honesty man . that dip in the middle bugs me ,,not sure why they put it there ? would look better if it wasnt there and flush with the hood

hope you have a garage, because that useless FAKE APC wannabe reverse induction dip is gonna create a lot of puddles. Better ZAINO that dip bigtime.

Thats the idea, it can be cut out if you like.

Yea thats one thing we were finding out is the built differences with our cars. Almost every car is different in some way it seems. I have witnessed it my self, by placing the same hood one two different Contours without adjusting them to fit, and each didn't quite fit, but in two different ways . One was a 98 and one was '99. I received alot of emails about this stuff. But I have gotten both cars to fit well.
I personaly like them not painted on silver cars, but it helps to have something to set it off, i.e. nice wheels, mirko etc...
