So we let this kid be expressive, so all the Gang member get to be expressive and wear gang colors? Schools have rules to ensure distractions do not occur. No hats, no backapcks, uniforms.......... all rules
We do not people to drive until they are 16 because they are no responsible enough to operate a car.
We do not allow people to vote until they are 18 because theyare not responsible enough to understand the issues.
We dont allow people to drink until they are 21 beacause they are no responsible enough to drink responsibly.
Do you think this kid full understands the result of his piercings later on in his life? Is this a "life" choice or a sporadic spur of the moment decision.
His poor decision is affecting him adversely now!
I started HS in '89, my school banned all hats and all lockers. No lockers meant a lower chance of drugs/guns.
