I emailed a clutch maker...don't worry who...they custom make clutches for any car, and performance set up...They asked me for some info on the stock clutch, and I don't know...here's what they need:
Could you give us the dimensions of the clutch disc, please?
Outside diameter and spline size.
And what is the engine size?
Engine size I obviously know...what's the clutch info...I need it asap...so i can get the info out, and get a price...Thanks alot

Why not just look to Clutch Masters or Centerforce for a clutch, as they both have listings for the Contour V6? Originally posted by CV6MTX:

I know what clutches are available...
there's a Clutchmaster stage 1 and 3 available, a Centerforce dual friction, and an Unorthodox stage 1 and 1+, along with OEM clutches...
I still need this info...would it be bad to have another available clutch for the cougar/contour?? I think not. Have you seen the prices for the CM stage 3 and the UO stage 1 and 1+?? $585-$675....
