Totally rad! Wish the Detroit SCCA would have been so helpful.

Definitely DON'T bring up the Uniroyal Goodrich Plant!! The only SCCA I've ever done was in that lot and it was terrible. Cracks everywhere in the pavement with grass growing up through it. My tires got pretty mangled through that mess. They have also held them at Wayne High School I believe but from what I hear it isn't any better. I'll make some calls about locations.

Auto-x = cool. What about those of us who don't have a SCCA licsense? I mean, suppose I want to run in the auto-x; ya know, so you guys can feel better about yourselves; should I sign up for SCCA here in TN before I come up there? Maybe start a new thread for the auto-x participants?

License or Membership? IIRC, the Solo II (I think thats what it is, some AutoX junkie correct me if I am wrong) you don't need a license for, just a helmet...

I'm going to do my best to come to SZ 05 solely for the reason of getting you back for that.
