This is an absolute show-stopper for me in this discussion.
Islamic radicals of just about every flavor I can think of have put killing as their top tool of "negociation". Most of these groups have one identifiable goal in mind: the fall of Western civilization, be it religious or secular. Some groups differ in the way they see themselves being led (return to the old Caliphate, anarchy, regional immams/clerics), but MAKE NO MISTAKE that they wish for nothing more than continued killing, as they feel it brings them closer to their goals.
I would seriously reccommend reading up on Bin Laden, if nothing else, as he's framed as the popular poster-child of modern-day terrorism.
Don't think for a minute that these radical nutjobs wish for NOTHING less but total misery upon the West.
