I never said a Kerry vote is a terrorist vote.

My opinion is that his stance against terrorsim seems as understood as Nostradums' predictions.

Key Word:

Imply

It's not what anyone said. In my opinion, that's what this thread implies.

And that wasn't directed at you Stazi, it was directed at the whole thread.

Think at it from a terrorist point of view Andy, would you want the softer of the two or the harder?....

It's all negativity not needed.

Tell me how I interpreted the question in a way that doesn't reflect Mark's way of thinking.

You're right that's exactly what you did do. You interpreted the question so as to give you the answer that Trapps would agree with. In case you didn't realize, it was a question, not a statement. A question is a solcitation of responses -- unless it's rhetorical of course. Usually, a question is posed to solicit various, differing responses.

When you ask questions of people are you looking to get the exact same answer you already have in your head? Do you rant, rave, and threaten them when the answer they give you wasn't the one you were already thinking of?

I simply proposed an alternative way of answering the question. I never said nor implied that I agreed with that possible answer or your answer. I simply provided an alternative answer. That's what a question is for -- to solicit various responses.

at the same time they could also vote for kerry because he might be more apt to work towards a genuine diplomatic solution to the problems which inspire terrorism. whereas bush is dead set on solving issues with war. just a different take on it...

personally i don't believe that terrorists want to continue to kill. but in their mislead minds they feel that it's their only means of fighting their battle and having their voice heard. and i'm by no means rationalizing or sympathizing with their brutal actions.

I hear a lot from the Kerry camp on what has went wrong in post-war Iraq, and a some of it VERY legitimate, though all I hear is deafening silence on the solutions to some of the screw-ups that have taken place. The current administration is maneuvering, albeit slowly, to respond to some of the realities that exist in Iraq now.

the solutions are fairly limited so there's not much new to be said there. i think what the kerry campaign is trying to get across (or what they should focus on) is they would be more competent in implementing the solutions and have fewer screw-ups.
