the 1.8 turbo is very moddable, and there is also a 2.8 (and a 3.0 on later year) A4's. they are plenty fast, available AWD, etc... very nice cars. but not cheap for one with low miles!!

Definitely wasn't a TT, pretty sure it was an A4, it was like a year ago. Mite not have been an A4 but definitely not a TT.

Welp, the only convertibles Audi made were A4 convertibles and TT convertibles.
The new-gen A4s were just brought out a MYear or two ago. Come with CVTs, and the S4 convertible just came out too.

Thanks for the advice. I tried an A4 search within 150 miles on Cars.com and came up empty. Maybe I'll visit an Audi dealer. The Mazda does look good, except I need someone else to absorb the initial depreciation and I haven't seen any pre-owned yet.

I stand corrected - didn't know the A4 was available in convertible form.  They appear more rare than even the TT - eBay only has two for sale!

Try a 2000-02 Audi S4 if that would be a choice for you. That's what I am looking at right now to replace my tour that I am selling soon.

actually, audi did have a convertible "A4" years ago but it was called....i cant recall...but i seem them ALL the time. my wife wanted one.

got one in my driveway too! i was thinking just like you and luckily found one in the classifieds with only 16k on it! i always wanted one but was afraid i was too late. ive seen some on ebay with as low as 30k on them.
