Well I needed something economical, cheap, new, that is good on gas... Of course it had to be fun to drive, a bit of a sleeper and have some creature comforts too.
I ordered a 2005 Focus ST - it is the "performance model"...
It comes with SVT Focus brakes, struts but NON SVT springs. Ride is very tight but has a little roll on turns (I didn't notice too bad though). It has the new 2.3 Duratec with 151HP and 154TQ. It weighs in at about 2700 lbs. Has leather/suede seating, MP3 6 disk cd player, heated seats.

Clicky Clicky The car is not as fast as the SHO, but for the cost of owning an SHO I could have a new car... So why not?
Was time for a change. Plus I needed something to save me some cash, it only uses regular gas and gets better fuel economy. Plus it is comfortable. I drive my cars alot! Last month my fuel bill for the SHO was over $500! This should help me out. Plus I will not have so much downtime like I can have with the SHO - only things not upgraded on the car is the trans (quaife/clutch - expensive and time consuming) plus I do not want to put to much money into a car that isn't worth that much.
Plus the car has a ton of aftermarket and reponds very well to mods. The intake is so choked up that a minimum gain of 10HP to the wheels is common with a CAI.
So yes I am going over to the darkside. But it is still a Ford. I think I can have some fun with the little car. 8 weeks to go. Now I just need someone to buy my SHO.
