you might also try a bead of lock tite. I replaced mine when i did my clutch. and i smeared oil around the outside to ease instalation
what a mistake that was. the seal started to back out a few months later and eventual completly backed out to the point it almost fell off into the bell housing.
So i replaced it and used some locktite and i havent had a problem since.
