Her and her boyfriend know next to nothing about cars, so she's in a panic. She went to start it this morning, it clicked a couple times, then it started and the light same on. Trying to get her to take it to AutoZone to get the code read and cleared, but I think that is even beyond her. Currently 1/4 tank of gas, so anything related to a loose cap woulda come on by now I'd think. She just wants to take it to whatever Chevy dealer is in College Park and fork over her credit card. Last time she did that, they charged her $400 to change the battery and cables. Wanna avoid a rip off like that this time. Anyone have a trusted shop in the College Park / Laurel / Silver Spring area? Maybe Columbia or Ellicott City.. think her boyfriend works near there and they might could swap cars for the day. Mom was out there last week visiting sis and they ate at The Old Hickory Grill. Just called Mom to pass the word to sis, and now mom says the light went out. I guess my sister didn't give her that info earlier. Oh well. Tellin her to get some fuel injector cleaner so she'll stop panicing about it Having mom pass along Tony's for her future car work My car.
