same boost, the block is the same, the rods are the same, only the pistons are a larger diameter, but same composition.
this is question really is way too open-ended, it really depends on whether the two motors are exactly stock, or has the 3L been built up w/ forged rods and pistons, etc.
the 3L can flow more air and make more power though
