Is it worth it to get them ported and polished? Maybe a 3 or 5 angle valve job? Let me know some of your thoughts, I got the heads in the back of my van and im ready to drop them off to a machine shop IF I like the sounds in this post.

Thanks Rick

valve job is deffinately worth it. i dont know if the valves are back cut or not but thats another thing to ask. also iirc you can put 3l valves in. someone chime in but i would recommend going all out on the heads since they are off. dont overlook and think about doing something that "might" help. just do it. demon svt posted a how to on porting heads maybe you can check that out too. bowl porting has shown great benifits with flow too but unfortunately i havent seen how the svt head is made up close.

If your getting the PnP'ed with 3.0L Valves expect ~$1000.

Is it worth it? Well, look at it this way Y2KSVT ran a 14.49 without PnPed heads (Fidanza, MSDS, Bassani, stock rims) I have only ran a 14.7 (so far, with the SS UIM/LIM, SS flywheel, PnPed heads (for nitrous), and 17" rims. )

Is it worth it? Only you can decide that.

No clue. Y2KSVT put down ~190 IIRC.
