What is the difference between the jet hot coating and the coating that comes on the headers when purchased from MSDS?

assuming that this group buy includes all the nuts bolts, gaskets and mil eliminatiors, please let me know now if I am incorrect ,so for $660 minus the up to $50 off depending on how many people actually buy headers plus the $40 for the silver coating that you say is 98% a good as the jet hot coating .it looks like i'm only saving $10

I am in no way trying to knock this group buy , Just trying to understand why the headers don't include the ceramic coating like the ones from according to MSDS website already have ?

They do come with all the parts needed and standard coating...never said they didn't. The Sterling upgrade is not just for looks it is supposed to be better then the standard coating. Basically a copy of Jet-Hot but still not the same...Jet-Hot holds the paten on their product and coating process...it is not the same. MSDS gives you a 1-year warranty...Jet-Hot Lifetime warranty. MSDS does not completely coat the inside of the headers Jet-Hot does, Jet-Hot is the #1 coating in the world for competitive motor sports and Military applications. http://www.jet-hot.com/pages/trackrecord.html

With the past track record of MSDS headers rusting and the difficulty of installation I chose not to take any chances and ordered mine uncoated. I then started a Jet-Hot Group Buy and had them coated with a 30% discount. Some say the new coating is fine but it has only been out for around a year so only time will tell. I have had and been around headers and complete exhaust systems coated with Jet-Hot for the last 10 years or more and most look just as good today as they did back when they were new. I didn't mind spending the extra $$$ for that piece of mind...but that just how I chose to do things
