Done
see NECO interest thread here
You may have to check back there now and then in case people post their interest there instead of here.

Damn, how can I edit the main post??? I would like to add info up there, but can no longer edit.

Anywho,
Marty contacted me and said he is mailing me a pricing form. He needs to work out the numbers, but I did inquire for 2 discounts. One if we have 10-19 buys, and another for 20+ since it seems like we have a LOT of people in this.

Some info that he did send me:
Quote:

Racer net prices: $660.00 includes standard ceramic---GB price will be reduced from this price.
Add Xtreme metallic ceramic coat (sterling silver) +$40.00
Add FedEx ground fr/ins +$28.00
Add HO811 vortec S/C option +$50.00
Delete Y-Pipe- $40.00
Delete standard ceramic coat -$40.00
We will finalize the price and send off the form shortly. You can copy the form and distribute it to your group.
Thx. Marty msdsinc.

So, hold tight, this IS going to happen. Figure a start date of around 10/1 or so.

I am also down, depending on price. I might be able to swing it by the hubby.

be carefull with the number of people interested by this MSDS GroupBuy.
In the past each GB never got 10 peoples, even if over 20-30 peoples seem to be interrested at the end very few made the purchase.

for example
MSDS GB1 (mid 2002): 9 peoples
MSDS GB2 (jan 2003): 5 peoples
MSDS GB3 (august 2003): 4 peoples

don't expect more than 50$ rebates

it seems everyone are interested but for a free set... , when it's time to pay everyone change their priority.

Definately, count me in. Don't need the y-pipe though.

Why wouldn't you need the y-pipe?

I've already got one from BAT. I got it when I bought a free-flow cat from them--same time I got the Borla catback from the GB. Tell me if this is OK or will the MSDS one be $40 better?

Unless you have a better y-pipe then the MSDS that is worth giving up the warranty you will be wasting your money or your savings of $40-$80 is foolish. Without coating the bare steel will rust in a week unless you are going to send them to Jet-Hot then you will get the best finish. If you don't send them to Jet-Hot I would highly suggest upgrading to the sterling finish!

no coating...

Jet-Hot Coating with Lifetime Warranty (last Jet-Hot GB)...
