I was wondering if anyone knows whata reasonable price for the cat back system by bassani would cost. I saw a group buy for it earlier this month, but I wasn't ready for it then. I now want it. If anyone knows where the "deal" is right now let me know.

This is who I was going to buy mine from, until I saw a GB last March. I think regualr price with shipping from him was going to be $580.xx. Where SP wants $582 + shipping.

Hey I went to that site and he had nothing pertaining to the contour. Do I need to call him or is that not the right site of ra contour catback system??

Pretty sure you have to call him...he mainly special orders contour stuff for us. Jack's a great guy to work with!

Drop him an e-mail, he is an authorized Bassani distributor, and he will give you a price, and answer any other questions you have.

As for the production #, call 1-800-FORD-SVT and you will have to give them your VIN#. They will give you the build # and the date it was built on. Give them your address and info too so they can mail you your certificate too.

Once you have this information, Taodster's SVT Roundup and drop him an e-mail with your build # and date so he can add you to his growing list of owners and their cars. His site is in the middle of moving/upgrading so that is why you don't see much, but give it time or check out his old site. Sorry, I don't know the link to it. Yea I ended up emailing him he gave me a price of 5339 for the bassani exhaust and 150 for a short throw shifter seems like a good deal I think I am going to take it. ANy other thoughts :rolleyes:

Yeah, that is the feeling I got from e-mailing him back and forth. I really regret not buying my Bassani from him. I only ended up saving like $20 and waiting 1 1/2 months to get it. I would have gladly paid a little more to get it sooner, and given my $$ to someone besides that A-hole at PSP.

Thanks for the info. I meant to say 539 not 5339 for the exhaust the group buy it was at 490 so I don't think this is outragously high.

One more question you said that you have bassani exhaust right now HOw does it sound compared to stock? I don't want a "ricer" sound I want clean but mean but sort of raspy they told em this is what to get true?
