It's kind of dead in here. I recently did some new runs and spent just an hour or so dialing in a few small fuel corrections on the E-Manage. What do you guys think? I am going to keep using it until it gives up the ghost and go 3.0! I think my numbers are right up there with most 2.5's with headers, full exhausts, big MAF's etc...

My best #'s are:

181.72 FWHP 159.75 FWTQ

1999 SVT E1
90K Miles
KKM MAF Adapter
Big ass K&N Filter
Self P&P'd Throttle Body - Matched to UIM
Self Optimized LIM - Shorter butterfly screws, gasket matching
Self Optimized stock Y pipe
2.5" Magnaflow Carsound Cat (stock pre-cats intact)
2.5" From Y/Cat to stock SVT rear section
Machine Lightened and Balanced SVT flywheel (21 lbs Before/14 lbs after)
Greddy E-Manage (fuel only)

I'll post the graphs as soon as I can. You can definitely see that it's running out of breath up top. Maybe it's finally time for headers or gutted precats and an exhaust!

I was impressed! Can't wait to take it to Thunderhill next month!

There it is. My car is weird though. Makes great torque before secondaries then it takes until around 5k rpm to come back up. Any suggestions on what would easily bring the torque up from Secondary opening point on? I think it also just needs some more tuning time. Im not pulling any fuel where the secondaries open and the AFR is around 13:1 right when they open. I do have a little more fuel that I feel I can safely pull (between 12-12.5:1 AFR) @ 4500-6K rpm. From 6-7K rpm the AFR is pretty flat but so is the power curve. It needs to pull from 6-7 much more then it does. Damn crap CA 91 doesn't help any either!

my dyno graph has a similar tq spike to yours but much more drastic. I too, am wondering whats causing it. Its a couple threads below this one.

Honestly, that's a fairly normal dyno... Good work!

That is a nice looking graph.

The only thing I noticed is the torque drops off rather fast. (i.e. faster then it should above 6k IMO)

Your exhaust is likely not very free flowing??? (i.e stock mufflers!)

Also 12-12.5 to is VERY rich for NA. Try around 12.8 to 13 This could also help out the power above 6k.
I probably wouldn't push it over 13 to 1 on the reformulated liberal piss they make you suffer through in CA.

Plus the spike above 180 at the end doesn't count.

Just out of curiousity. Return or returnless???

If you took that same curve but used time instead of RPM on the X-axis, you'd see that it only takes your car a couple seconds to regain the torque it lost from the secondaries opening up. IMO, that's not too shabby considering it's letting in ~50% more air in! (<---Someone please correct me if that number's way off.)

I'm no tuner, but I'm imagining that's it's damn near imposible to get rid of that secondary induced drop off w/o removing the secondaries...

Nice numbers and nice graph!

It's a Return car. Thx for the kind words. Stock Precats, and completely stock exhaust from the rear Y back. Definitely needs some help. The gas out here does suck!
