If the underhood temp is low enough that a KKM or similar unit is effective, then doesn't it stand to reason that the ambient air temperature is low enough to make the IMRC down instead of heat up with a heat sink? But buy the same token,I've run 154K HARD miles with the Duratech cover in place and haven't had an IMRC issue yet (knock wood).
