Well whoever coined that SVTS are pieces of $%*^ and somewhat correct but mine was defintely built right. So far so good........85k and no problems...other than routine maintenance. My suspension is quite sluggish and will need an overhaul around 100k. I've been surprised at how well my car runs.......more so b/c I know that I really "drive" my ride!

91000 and she runs great except for the o2 sensors needing to be replaced which is dragging down my mileage. definately maintainence intensive imo but a relaible car if you keep it up and don't abuse it.

Just turned 130K and it is running awesome. She just gets stronger and stronger, kind of like Jenna Jameson.

That probably means your coolant is just a little low, topping off the reservoir will fix that.

I've got just under 99K miles, bought it with just over 70K, and since then I've replaced:

water pump
front brakes
main cat
exhaust
rims/tires
springs/struts
front control arms
CD4E (shop error)
transmission cooler
all wiring harnesses (99M03)
main power steering line (shop error)
radiator (twice...second time was shop error)
alternator
battery
stereo
headlights
one foglight
turn signal
IAC
O2 sensors
parking brake (complete mechanism)

Just a freakin' laundry list of items, and even though I didn't pay for any of the REALLY expensive stuff, I'm sure I've put in at least the same amount on repairs and upgrades that I did on the car...maybe even just repairs alone.

And I still love the beast. The one thing I still want to do is put the CD4E Jr. kit in the transmission, but that's a hard one to figure out (what I need, who can do it, etc.)
