yea a mechanic did the first one! im not repeating that, im puttin it back on blocks, takin the alternator out, sending it back and hopefully getting a new one this century.

You can buy my contour with the dead engine and use the alt from that. (only 1 year old no problems)

o and if you have problems getting rid of the car if ur intending to get rid of it. I got a guy that will tow away any car for 75.00 no paper work needed. We've used him twice so far, and he is great and efficient. first time he took the shell of the contour with crap inside of it, so you can strip it and sell parts if u want to as well.

I am thinking about just getting my aftermarket parts off the car and just donating that rest of the car to whoever will take it and take the deduction on taxes.
