I'm not going to drag this out into some incredibly elaborate story, because I don't believe in telling every detail of a bad thing. Here's the condensed version.

Pulling out of the parking space, parked next to this F250. Can't see over the hood of this truck, and I have to cut it wide to make it clear of it. Chick in a lifted Silverado makes a beeline up the aisle yapping away on a cell phone.

This is the end result. Besides a sore neck, I'm fine. Had the belt on and everything.






The reason the car is still shiny was because I had just spent the day before polishing it all up in preps for a repaint job and another photo session for this site, but now it looks like my very limited supply of money will be going elsewhere.

Here's to hoping it will be done by the time the Dragon Run meet gets here. That's all I want.

EDIT: Oh you posted before I got mine in. I didn't see that she didn't have insurance. Who the hell are these people driving without insurance? You can pay to put that cell phone up to your ear, you can afford insurance you ignorant slut! Sorry bro, I feel your pain!

I'll have to say this on my own until Ross gets on to back me up but there is no karma here, as much as this situation would appear in that way. My opinion on Dom's paint had nothing to do with this accident, all other factors not withstanding.

I'd rather forget that hassle now anyway.

The chick was driving her 'boyfriend's' truck and could not produce registration or insurance, nor any type of identification. The officer said he shares my anger, but it will ultimately go down as my fault either way because I should have yielded to lane traffic since I was the one in the parking space.

I still feel like this girl is an idiot entirely, but there's no way around the law. It just turned out in her favor this time.

Yielded? How do you yield a lifted F250? It's a parking lot, the chic should have been on the brake the whole time, so it sounds like she was accelerating if she hit you in the side of the car. I could see if she hit you RIGHT as you were exiting a parking spot and clipped your bumper, but that's just pathetic.

Chris's not liking Dom's paint has no bearing on anything. Nobody is entitled to an opinion anymore and it sickens me. I will get drunk tonite to show my sickness for not being able to have an opinion anymore. We all should take a stand against this kind of thing.
