It's very stable...this depends on the tires your using. Yes I know what the stock tires are/were, still different tires perform differently.
It's all about the rubber baby.

I do the 140 thing every so often (my tires can handle it) fells real good..extremely stable (you can tell normally when friends freak out @ high speeds, mine don't mind speed in this car)

Max speed attainable at 7k and stock 24.5" tires is a hair below 169mph...
However the 200HP SVT is drag limited to 143-144mph... 150mph at ~240HP (~195FWHP) 160mph at ~290HP (~240FWHP) 170mph at ~340HP (~275FWHP) (rough estimates)
Also like stated before. The stock speedo is quite generous once you get above 100mph.
Deviation from stock tire size will make this exponentially worse.

Well, I have well over 275fwhp and a 7500rpm redline, and the gps indicated 172.8mph w/ 6 satellites tracking.
