I had a fog lamp break and replaced both fogs with $20 wal mart driving lights. Even with those, I saw a huge improvement in visibility, which is a testament to just how bad the stock fogs are.
Silverstars are decent, but overated IMO. I think you would have decent results just replacing the low beams with a xenon 9005.
