spoilers are for looks, unless you have an F1 car




Actualy if its a true spoiler, its fully functional form about 75 mph and on....its main use is RWD cars, due to the fact that the rear wheels need the down force to stay planted to the road.


the main reason FWD cars would have it, is if for some reason they need the down force to keep the rear planted.


The only possible problem i could see is when the down force pushes down on a front wheeldrive car (street car not race car) and causes a slight lift in the fornt end....Causeing slightly lower tracting and vehical reaction times, because the car is no longer at its original seating.


But the overall message in my post is that they serve a fast larger racing community than just f-1 cars.
