OP jt1965 New CEG\'er J Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 15	Question? Has anyone had to replace an SVT Solenoid? My check engine light came on and Ford tells me it is the SVT solenoid which basically controls my timing? It does feel like the car is missing at times and has been for about 2 months. Cost with labour $1400 Canadian. Are they trying to rip me off? 98 Contour Sport 166,000 KM's Z-tec 4 cyl
