Im looking into sticking either or in stock resonator position and putting straight pipes inplace of rear mufflers.
does anybody have setups like I described? how much louder is ultraflow than superturbo?
just from the designs I'd say the ultraflow is higher horse power how much more do you think it would make power wise to use an ultraflow in place of superturbo? negligable or valaible. lot less flow disturbince it seems in ultra flow but also less sound detoning
98 silver frost SVT custom built intake, offroad y-pipe,mystery mod, remote optimizer, short shifter, zex nitrous, lots of stereo, 17 konigs
with paradas.(bent) TOTALED do to freak electrical fire?(that started at a wireing harness ford neglected to tell me should have been recalled as they did with the 95se) I miss this car.

They both had ultraflows but were changed for test purposes to see how the sound properties of the Magnaflow mufflers. It's really a subjective call. I like the Dynomax sound when it was on the SVT and the Magnaflow on the SE. I will return to a Dynomax ultraflow on the SVT this week. Without the 2 resonators, you could hear the cars from a couple of city blocks. Now with the resonators in, the cars can be heard from one city block. Honestly, because both cars have MSDS headers, they both got mighty loud and resonators were a must. I highly recommend that you introduce straight through resonators in the rear. Oh, to answer your question about the 2 mufflers, the ultraflow produces a lot more power than the super turbo at the cost of more $$$ and more sound.

trying to stay within budget I'd like tohave one under body muffler with not to much sound but will compromise my comfort for performance.
running no cats is not much louder than stock but my catback is all stock and clearly needs to be inproved.

i bought sca exhust and got really bad rasp. yesterday i hit a dip and it ripped of one muffler. i noticed the muffler was rusting from he inside out. so i replaced it with a magnaflow and the rasp went away almost... i still need to replace the othe sca muffler that the rasp is coming from but didn't have the money.
so my suggettion is get rid off resonator and replace stock mufflers with magnaflow's
