Since there've been some remarks about different colors and how they "don't go with the car's shape" (

) I'd just like to add a bit more about why I like what you've done.
1. I guess I'm an old fart, but if I get a Porsche, I don't want a cop-magnet red. I really like the more understated, darker colors on the "middle year" 911s, like the dark greens with the deep tan leather interior. I don't know why, I just do.
2. I said before that the color looked "European." OK, so it's a Lexus color, but who is Lexus aimed at? What lifestyle impression does Lexus try to make?
3. I'm not actually a big fan of "charcoal" but I think it works, and I think you made a good choice. While I cried a bit at first that you were covering up T-red (possibly the best Ford color of all time) I eventually came to understand your choice.
4. OK, so the coolest thing is that you chose a non-factory color that was true to the "stealth" nature of this car. It's obviously special, and loved, but you don't see it coming from 6 miles away, and you certainly aren't sick of it before it goes by. Sorry kids, but the day-glo paint and color-change flame job is "played out" as they say.
5. As for burnt orange: I was fairly unaffected by it, but the other day we got passed by an orange Pontiac (in the minivan, of course), and my Wife said, "I can't believe that ugly 70's color is back. And on a Gran Prix, no less."
