No, I'm curious as you've made mention of the fact more than once now. If you are going to go out of your way to say you would've done differently - Then spit it out.

I could swear I did two posts ago when I said I would've gone a different route...
That means I would've picked a different color.
Understandable?

Ah. Eric again pushes me in the right direction.
Burnt Orange has my vote. It'd be too "flashy" for most of you old folks though, and thus considered ricey.

BURNT ORANGE??!??!!!! Where's that throw up smilely?!?! Friend of mine has a burnt orange '00 ZX3 and the only time it's been waxed was when I stole it and detailed it. Even then, I didn't like the color. Well, not enough to go to all the trouble of changing the car's color. It's not that nice.

The quality of the paint job looks excellent as well.
I bet it looks even better in person.

You're not thinking of the Burnt Orange I'm thinking of.

The one I have in mind...I'll polish up a picture later. Not to be a thread jacker or anything...Eric, you have a habit of doing that.

Either way, I'd have gone a different route as far as what color. That color grey just isn't my deal on a CSVT.
That was my thought two years ago...Painting it Orange Candy Metallic (Prototype color on a Grand Prix and Grand Am from PPG). Hence the photo below and the study into the paint formula (which I have now). However, after consideration I didn't think I could stomach that color for the next 5 years - So I tossed it.
BTW - You know me? Really... That's amazing because I have no clue who you are and wouldn't assume anything about you because (I don't know you!). Am I really a perfectionist? There is about an 1/4" layer of body filler dust from the shop on it that I tried to blow off before the pictures. I consider that "Dirty".
