Welcome to CEG. I think you'll find the forum to be a useful source of information.

One item you should check on, if you haven't read this already: The water pump on V6 models uses a plastic impeller that's noted for causing problems. Use the "search" capability to learn more about this issue.

I changed the pump on my '95 myself at about 55K miles; it was still in good shape, but I'd read enough about others' problems that I changed it purely as a preventive measure.

Enjoy driving your Mystique!

Phil

Phil:

Thanks for the heads up on the water pump. Thankfully the PO already had to replace it this spring.

Eva, sounds like you've got it all goin' on! You know a little about your car, you looked the site over before posting, and you plan to put up pictures. EXCELLENT!!

Wecome, enjoy your wonderful car, and I hope you can get to a few meets within driving distance. It's always fun at a CEG meet!

Well it would appear that you guys already met my wife ! Well so far this car is a blast, I love it. Thanks to all the wonderful info, I have already planned a small list of mods. The K&N RU-3530 filter is on its way and if she leaves me the car tomorrow, I'll do the foglight mod and maybe the drl disable. Side repeaters will be next. I have them on my Getta and they work really well. I know one thing though, I am going to have to be careful what else I do. Especially if she is going to be rooting around here too !!

Well, back to the search. Soooo much info my head hurts

I remember that feeling when I first found the site!

The Michigan guys are usally active. Check out the regional forum for that state & you might be able to find a meet. If you want a really exciting drive, come to the Dragon Run in October - see my sig for more info.

Enjoy the car!
