It was impressively stable also. Not quite like a 911 Porsche or a new Corvette, but very nice. '98 SVT Contour #639 '79 Monte Carlo

Not to burst your bubble, but the speedo is really inaccurate at the upper end of it's range. You need something like a GPS to get a good feel for how fast you are going. Don't worry, it was still fast. But indicated speeds are suspect at the upper end of the speedo.
