I read the FAQ and was wondering about B&M' s Trick Shift fluid and Mercon V fluid. If I was to use either of these fluids do I still need the friction modifier? I have the 2.5 with manual.

Alot have changed over to redlines MTL with good results and no complaints. You can also run the MT-90 from Redline.

Though I havent heard too much about mobil 1 synthetic ATF. I just used on my MTX with 155,000 on the original fluid.

I cant believe how smooth it is now. No modifier used.

I just changed mine to Redline MTL and i HIGHLY recommend it. Shift feel is incredible and it was super easy to do. And no smelly friction modifier needed.
