OP T-RedSVT Historical Gator T Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 126 Da' Old Skool	Now, I am spoiled as hell on HD Programming. I love the pic quality and the 5.1. But, here is my question. For non HD programs, I use just the digital cable pack. The pic is absolutley horrid. I mean, fuzzy as heck, not real clear. What is this due to? Is it some settings on my TV? Is it the cable? I have dicked with the settings on the TV and all the various picture settings for the screen size. Does anyone else have the same problem? My opinion: If your watching regular 480i through a bigscreen tv after your all used to HD resolution, then of course the 480i is going to look crappy, especially since it is also compressed mpeg digital format. When the screen size gets that big with mpeg, you can start to see artifacts of compression on many lower quality channels that didn't buy enough bandwidth. I don't know if this is true anymore but I know with the Sony (TV) I have using S-video bypasses the digital comb filter in the TV so WYSIWYG. Keep in mind too that on most digital cable networks channels less than 100 are still analog and will suffer accordingly. "Bros before Hoes" <-- More men need this mentality.

I play project gotham 2 on it and I'm blown away, (then I run out to my csvt and drive like crazy around the block) but yea, look into those TV's cause I hear projections aren't gonna be around for much longer def. recomend samsung though, for sony your just paying for the name. good luck #0009
