It starts at $22k, doesn't sound like it'll under cut the srt4. It may give the srt4 some good competition. That'll be good. And it should also handle good. But, the srt4 is a 2.4L and the engine has been built up very well. I'm not sure what GM has done to the ecotec, but I'm gonna guess it's less than what dodge did with the srt4. Srt4 also has a big aftermarket already and proven reliability, though I guess the cobalt ss could be a good alternative for those wanting to be different, even if it costs them a little more and they get a little less.
