Yes. A few years ago Hot Rod Magazine built a supercharged Mustang that also used NOS. They used a very small shot of NOS to cool the intake charge entering the supercharger.

The car ran high 10's if I remember right.

It can be a big shot, but the engine better be setup for both.

i would deffinately do a upgrade of engine parts. i thought about running NOS to cool the motor down, due to the supercharger heating the engine up so fast with such high compression. if i did go ahead and get NOS with my current mods i would only go with a 30 shot of NOS and the kit i would try to use would be ZEX. i am waiting to upgrade parts so i can do this. i feel ya though.

When Paxton was working on the Cougar kit, one of the engineers said a 50 shot would be great for intercooling/power adding.

I would imagine that would push some stuff to the edge, but it's possible.

I ran a wet 75hp shot in my 3.8 sc Taurus. Though I did have a lower compression and forged pistons to take the abuse.

if you could get a blank nozzle with no hole i could drill you guys a small hole smaller than a 50 shot( i have the hole size for this one in a catalog) and with some math i could make them more than likley small as 10-20 hp on a small hole edm driller

all i need now is a lot of throttle and a whole lot of bottle

i wish i was a NitroFish
