Mr. Riley, your price for pictures and autographs just went up by 1000 dollars! Do we have any other wise crackas' who wish to pay the higher prices.... grady

Is this the will-call issue? I got my order in by the 10th, so I think I've dodged having to wait in line for mine...

I just called and they will let us in after everything is done Thurs. night. Now I have to figure out tent stuff. Not sure if their will be enough room and I don't think Ken wants to sleep in my 2 man. Two guys shouldn't be that close. Did you say you were bringing a tent we could use?

Naw...I have to back out of the trip, unfortunately. Though my house was spared the worst of Frances' fury, we still have damage that must be repaired, some of which I can't/don't want to/don't have time to do. The current budget can't sustain house repairs, races, and medical bills from the recent birth of our firstborn all at the same time.
I was so looking forward to making this one -- looks like it'll turn out to be a great reunion, as I haven't seen many of the other SE-CEG'ers in a while and was anticipating meeting some of you folks from other areas. And then there's the cars/race, of course...I'll miss not being able to razz a couple of my NASCAR buddies on the phone while I'm walking down the grid just prior to the race.
The 4-day ticket I ordered a couple months ago is on its way to Blake, so all isn't lost.
You folks keep it alive up there and take plenty of pics/vids! Hopefully I can catch most of it on Speed.

Brinn, sorry to hear you're not going to make it and good luck getting the casa fixed so the next storm can *really* do a number!!! We'll miss seeing you and maybe YOU will get that call from the grid So, any CEG'r coming to Petit that would like to stay in an RV? We may have a spot available for a nominal sum. Hot shower and a place for #2

lest anyone needs convincing, let me add that taking a hoo in something other than a port-o-let or community restroom is worth every penny of that "nominal sum". i got spoiled last year w/ the RV accommodations and was actually kind of disappointed that it never did really rain, since every other year i've been to PLM and camped in a tent - it comes a gully-washer that made me wonder what genius thought a tent was a viable dwelling place. of course, parking my tent in the midst of what became a drainage run-off area two years ago may have had something to do w/ that....
