All info can be found here for preregistration. Yes, you have to log on but it's free. Pretty cool site.

I really hope their AutoX is better than their web programming. They build an incompatible page, then blame my browser.

They should write a page that work on 100% of the browswers out there.

here is what I got: http://www.myautoevents.com/mae/html/browserfail.html

Good grief. Just update your four year old browser and be done with it.

Netsape 4.x browsers are very inefficient at rendering certain STANDARD HTML constructs. Would you rather have a nice warning page or have your machine crash? laugh

Try this one with your Netscape 4.x browser: http://www.speedvision.com

Have you tried Netscape 6 on SPARC?

I have to use the browser my employer provides on my server (an SunFire 5500 with 8 processors and a bunch of RAM laugh )

I don't care how efficient the rendering is, I want an O/S that runs for months without requiring a reboot.

Check my sig and see where I work laugh

I didn't mean to be an @ss and insult anyone. That is a really convenient page.

It's just too bad I had to wait until I got to a "toy" computer ;D to register.

If you don't mind, I'm going to show this to our local team. Registration the first few events was pretty slow. It has been improving...

Thanks,

TB

You work at Sun? Who cares? laugh IBM is going to buy Sun just for complete rights to Java pretty soon and then toss the rest of the company away like rotten fruit. Bow to the almighty IBM, slayer of Windows and ruler of the Sun.

Looks like that prevents me from preregistering. I'm definitely wanting to auto-x, but can't get to the site due to the browser restrictions. Can we register at Spring Zing? The second site also requires a newer browser.

Not meaning to be bad either, but this is the only site I've ever encountered that doesn't accept Communicator 4.78, and I absolutely loathe any of the newer versions for their overly fancy yet inconvenient screen setups.
