Realisticly, an SVT version of the Ford 500 would be something worth investing in, but thats just my .02 cents worth. As far as them going "upscale" to compete with the likes of AMG/"M"/"S", please
Honestly, what automotive enthuisist is going to take them seriously there
, I mean they had over 10 years to work with and where did it get them, seriously. Just take the CSVT for instance, no 3.0L when they had in their stable, no Quaife to back it up, even with the 2.5L, no 17" tires/wheels, no big brakes, no quality struts/springs, etc. They will not even be able to compete with the "V" line-up from Caddy, let alone the above mentioned "specialty cars", hell the "V" line-up is something to reckon with considering the new, upcoming 500 hp V-series Plus CTS, S/C'd Northstar XLR and blown STS, both pushing the 400 hp envelope
