I think only the Cobra and Lightning will be SVT vehicles from 2006 on.
Wow! I really hope not! SVT has a good thing going and to lower their offerings to 2 vehicles would just not be smart! Might as well get rid of SVT altogether and make it part of reg. production... I give credit to SVT and I like their work, but I also agree with the comment about not putting the 3L in the SVT tour when they had it in their parts inventory. That was a mistake, but otherwise they put out very fast, good looking spinoffs from production. I have no doubt whatever vehicles they are developing they will cause waves when they are released! I'm lookin forward to their next offering!

I recall reading something about how SVT likes to be working on 3 cars at a time, no more, no less. I can see them dropping their production to just 2 (Stang and Lightning), but it's still a nice thought to wonder about what their 3rd car could be and what it could do...

I've been debating what to get next (when the CSVT is ready to be handed down to my bro) and I think I just found the answer. The Fusion looks nice. If it's anything like the Mazda6, the non-SVT version should be faster than my stock CSVT that I have now...sounds like a nice replacement.

I'm assuming the numer after the ST is HP, cause the Mondeo ST200 has 205HP (2.5L), ST220 has 226HP (3.0L). The Focus ST170 has 170HP or 173PS (whatever PS is...) (2.0L)
Focus ST170
Mondeo ST220
EDIT: Found what PS means:
PS = Pferdest¤rke (1.0 PS = 0.9863 HP.) Used by japan kW = Kilowatt (1.0 kW = 1.34 HP) Used by Germany and other in Europe.
1st link off Google, on "www.superhonda.com" forums... obviously not just Japan uses it...
Sadly no... Look at the new '05 Focus ST. It's nothing to write home about.

That was never made for the public. AFAIK, it was a one-off learning/fun project for SVT.
You guys are mixing up two different vehicles.
There was a concept T-bolt, that was a Ranger built w/ a lightning powertrain, done by SVT as an engineering exercise.
Then there was the T-bolt you could buy in the dealers. It was done by the personalization arm of the Ford Customer Service Division. It was basically a cosmetic package aimed at making the ranger look more aggressive. It was NOTHING like the the Concept truck done by SVT.
i c, saw a one at a dealer ship near me, that said thunderbolt on it, and have a v8 in it with a super charger. It was in the show room in the svt section of the ford dealer. figured they sold them lol. guess not.
