Okay I have to bring this up. SVT, as many already know, is hibernating for a few years to work on new models. SVT has hinted at a SVT Fusion. Ive searched the Internet high and low for more details or specs on it. Does any people or Ford workers on this site know any more about it. I want my "son of CSVT"

1. I don't believe I've heard rumors about such a car, other than random wishings from people. Nothing "concrete", at least as far as rumors go.
2. If any "insiders" really do know anything about such a car, whether pro or con, they sure aren't going to tell you. An auto company's future product plans are perhaps its most guarded secrets. I know of at least three or four people that have lost thier jobs over merely posting photos of the new mustang early. And make note that only 2 of them were Ford employees.

is the Fusion what there callin the futura now?
Motorcity and i seen a Wierd lookin Mazda 6 this weekend in Indiana. Had a fuel dump cut into rear bumper and some wheel flares on the front..

last i heard was a possible svt suv, a svt mercury (kinda like the maurauder 'sp') and of course the return of the focus and lightning. all rumours and quite a ways old. whatever theyre coming up with im sure its going to be good.

According to Ford, no more SVT Focus. They want to make SVT a more premium badge (ergo...you'll only see it on the more expensive cars) The lower priced cars will get the ST badging for their sport model.

They made an SVT Expedition once, and called it the Thunder

The "SVT Expedition" was a concept truck, not sold. IN fact, it wasn't considered an SVT vehicle.
I think only the Cobra and Lightning will be SVT vehicles from 2006 on.
