2006 Lincoln Zephyr

Perhaps a worthy (if not less sporty) replacement for the Contour. They just have to do something about those gauges. The time is getting close.

It's hard to believe that an instrument panel alone could ruin a car for me. It resembles gauges from the early 80's .

i read the article, but maybe i missed it- is that chassi and everything new, or does it share components w/ some other cars in the FoMoCo family?

Not bad, but i'd rather have her marginally hotter sister, the Mercury Milan:

It is going to be built on the Mazda 6's chassis. Pretty much all the mechanicals will be shared with the Mazda, but the similarities end there. Here's some more on it...

That's nice as well. I'm just more of a fan of the squared off, boxy look. Much like the older Volvo's (850).

For the most part I agree... i would say go with a different color scheme and it would be a winner. I like the car for the majority.... Except for the ugly ass front grille.
