to the original poster: why exactly do you want to avoid a high flow resonator or a muffler in the resonator location?
to all: we shouldn't feel too bad about 2-chamber resonator. apparently ford exhaust department has a fascination w/ those things. '04 Mustang Mach1 has 2 of those. replaced w/ magnaflows it doesn't sound that much louder than stock, so why couldn't they put it there to start with is beyond my comprehension. certainly, mustang targeted buyers would appreciate the sound...
