The quote you got from him is a LOWBALL quote.
Most shop do this to get your attention and business.
When you car is on the lift, you'll find out how much the job REALLY is...
This is the WRONG time to find out.
R&R labor on the CD4E in any flavor of the Contique is $700+.
Add this to the $1,195 transmission they quoted you and it won't add up.
Either drop it yourself and do the work yourself,
or have them fess up to the numbers
and let them rebuild YOUR CD4E.
Don't let them get you any other way... TRUST ME...
