My base RSX is a sweet reliable little car. It doesn't quite have the punch of of a type-s but with a little modding it holds its own. My RSX will keep up with an SVT in most situations.(flame suit zipped) If you haven't already looked check out clubRSX. Its pretty decent. There are quite a few ignorant ricers but as a whole its a good site. The 05 does look nice:
