well, the vote will be definitely as close this time around. repubs think they'll win and the dems think they'll win. either way it seems it's the american voters which will lose. then we'll even have a worse round of choices in '08 if cheney survives that long and hillary makes the ticket. with CEG being the uber-conservative haven it is you all just can't accept how likely it is for dubya to lose unless something big happens. anyway, hopefully bush and the supreme court won't be the sore losers this time around.

That's an associate of science (A.S.) degree, right? Have you been pursuing your B.S. degree?
Packrat, working at Walmart's as a clerk is pathetic for a young adult who can so clearly do better. You better watch it, because in a few years (if not already) you will be looking back at your life and you will be PISSED. I have seen it before. Pink Floyd's "Time" comes to mind.
You may be nasty, but you are also smart - and that is something that is always in demand ââ?¬â?? if you are willing to use it as a tool and not as a toy. Your goal should be to work in a field where you are not the smartest person in the room.
Since you cant find work in the architectural field, try another. Transfer those credits you have and start taking courses on-line (at home) for a B.S. degree in computer science (as an example). That's a credential you can definitely sell anywhere.
If you invested a fraction of the amount of time you spend on-line toward such a degree program, you could probably complete it in 18 months starting with an A.S. degree.
My wife has a B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University and does very well indeed. She completed nearly all her courses and exams on-line at home evenings and weekends. She is currently attending a seminar on CMMI.
Whatever your priorities are now, rethink them. I donââ?¬â?¢t always judge a manââ?¬â?¢s intelligence by what he does for a living ââ?¬â?? but God knows itââ?¬â?¢s a good first estimate.

Last time I checked the Senate was just a bit higher than a School Board...
This was meant to be talking about the future, not the past. I am well aware that scum was elected to my homestate's senate seat...

Not to be rude, but I would rather take a head dive into a toilet cesspool than go back to college.

come on pack...it'll be just like that movie back to school. plus i'm sure you've seen several stats showing the diff in lifetime earnings between educational levels. going back to school might be sh!tty but it's well worth it.

I didn't ask for your statistics and this isn't a "advise pack on what he should do with his life" thread so I suggest you just drop it.

Good comeback, Rusty. I expected something better, even from you.
It's actually less a joke and more of a statement of my perception. You and Packrat and some others on this board that lean so far to the conservative side that you make up the lunatic fringe of the conservative side of the ball.(Yes there is one!) I'm more of a moderate but you make me look like a "bleeding heart liberal". I'm sure you don't see yourself that way what with all the finger pointing that you have to do. Where would one find the time to judge ones own life when you have so many others to judge!
Just so you know, I feel the same way about John Kerry as I do about diarrhea and STD's.

Not having seen the methods of selecting the poll sample and the exact wording of the poll, I am not going to have an opinion of the polling.
I was reading USA Today (only paper available at the stop I made for lunch), and it was looking at the liklihood of a tie in the electoral college. Another interesting part is that Colorado has an initiative to join Maine and Nebraska into dividing their vote by congressional district. If it passes, the initiative reads it is in effect for this election... I don't know if that will pass legal challenge if the election ends up being that close.
