Thats where you're wrong. To make it sound any different is a different OPINION. There have not been any cold hard facts posted here yet, so everything currently is opinion.

Problem is we don't really have any cold hard facts.

I tried gathering data based on the CEG registry for number of cars here and compare that with the number of known blown diffs. I don't know how many diffs exactly have blown in SVT's or 98+ cars, but we now have 1 report of a broken diff in a pre-98.

Pre-98 cars in the registry: ~250
SVT cars in the registry: ~500

Pre-98 blown diffs: 1
SVT blown diffs: I'd guess at 50.

If you take those numbers, 0.004% of pre-98 diffs have blown and 1% of SVT diffs have blown. Thats a fairly big difference IMO.

But then again, this is data based of a database of only 1000 cars, and only on the CEG and assumes if you are part of CEG you abuse your car.
