i have those reverse gauges. ordered them from procarparts.com

i love them, but they are not as user friendly as i had hoped. first off, the location of all the wires coming off the actual overlays sucks!! you have to dremel the case around your cluster just to get the wires to fit decently without pinching the wires. my biggest trouble was gettin the gauges to lay flat. i tried so many different things. if there was a "CEG Rip your Dash Apart" contest, i bet i'd do pretty good. i think i've had my cluster out about 15 times. i originally had the switch down near my knees, but wanted something cleaner. i loved the blue, and never ever used green, so i decided to do this:

was kinda a pain in the butt, but i really like it. good luck with your decision!

sounds better than the rice isle at pep boys doesn't it?? I just have to ask, why the hell do you have the huge tach mounted on your passenger pillar??? And why do you need the blinding shift light with an automatic??? you get my vote for most pointless riced out interior.

I'm not going to be as harsh, by why on earth is your tach on the wrong side of the car. Kind of detracts from the whole reason you are supposed to have a Monster tach anyway - to make is easier to see your rpm's by having it up closer to your driving field of vision, in front of you, so you don't have to look away from the road in front of you while driving.

I would just recommend you move it to a place up on the dash in front of you. Other than that, your interior is not bad.

LOL, fellas, I am happy that - on the average once a month - I give ya'll an opportunity to ask the same question over and over again.

1. I do not dispute the fact the tach was mounted not the best way possible; however, I personally don't have any problems of distraction while looking at it. Now, once it was mounted I didn't see - and don't do now - any reasons to put it on the left side, and why on earth should I bother if I am OK with the way it is now.

2. Shifter light - well, shifter light on auto bears the same significance as roll cage in our cars, painted calipers or tens of other things we do for the sole purpose of looks only. With 130 HP my ride is capable of - it's the looks we/I are left with.

3. I actually posted the pic as an answer to NewPowerRadio's question about them gauges, so let's call thread hijack a day now, shall we?
