The only thing you could pray for is that if Hillary does run in '08, Condi will too. The only defence against Hillary being the first possible female president would be to up her one and put forward a Republican candidate who is also a woman AND black!
Sadly, yes, as shallow as that may seem, I can bet that a mojority of people, nay, women that would vote for Hillary would vote under the premise that she's a woman, and to hell with her agenda. I may sound sexist, but I bet every hippy, tree-hugging, liberal, lezzi would be fighting her way to the voting booth if Hillary's name appeared on the presidential ballot. Also, seeing as a mojority of the african-american voting population are typically Democrats, you'd have to do something to try and win their vote away from Hillary. Condoleeza Rice could possibly do that, and I bet she'd have some good governing policies to boot.
