you think you got it bad, unlce has a 1997 Dodge ram 3500 with the cummins 5.9L diesel. goes through a gallon of oil a day. it comes out of a seal before the fan and sprays all over the motor. the dealer quoted him $3,500 to fix

I may bee wrong, it happens alot, but is 7000 a little to long of an oil change interval? I get nervous at 2800.
