From what I've read on the GTO forums this was a engeineering groups effort and the hardest part was getting the dual filter intake system to work.
The '05 GTO gets the Corvette powerplant good for 400HP, 18" wheels, and the addition of hoodscoops. Car will retail for about $2K more than '04's, or $35K.
Remaining '04's are under heavy discounts, as much as $2K below invoice, or $28K.
Also, there is NO Pontiac name on this car. Badging is very subtle with only the addition of 1 or 2 Pontiac arrows as can be seen on the front bumper.
