You can run the car for 20 minutes without the reservoir cap off to burp the system.
It's not necessary, as on the T-stat there's a little hole with a loose piece of metal in it, that helps to burp the system.

I've done the coolant flush from the rad drain plug. I found that 4 + liters of water are left in the engine.
You then add 4 liters of 100% pure antifreeze to the reservoir tank.
Once the car has run for a bit, the two will mix and you'll get a close 50/50 mix.
Then just top up as needed, either 50/50 or 100% anitfreeze, depending how much you put in the first time.

Idle could be rough due to the fact you left something unplugged or isn't on right.
